This week we are changing up our PUGs. We have decided to host our first HIGHLANDER scrim. What's a Highlander? It is a 9v9 slug fest. Each class has a one player limit so each team must utilize every class. Sign Up HERE!

Let's dance! DP will be hosting weekly 6v6 PUGs (Pick Up Games) every Tuesday night @ 9:30 PM est. Sign ups are done in this forum and are first come first serve. We'll post a steam announcement when we post each weeks signups. That means you have to be in the dp-nation community if you want the heads up.
We are also bringing back the weekly DP only scrims every Saturday night. This includes all DP members and recruits. We want the recruits and all members to get a feel for the 6v6 scrims and mingle. :D Free punch and doughnuts!
You may notice we've made a slight change. Instead of having have one locked down scrim server we are going to be combing the scrim and practice server. Our server lineup will now include a 2Fort server.
Today we morn the passing of the free slots. Those of you lucky enough to get one while they were free will keep them but that's it. We can't sell you the cow when you can get the milk for free. WTF? Well, no more Bonus Round Immunity or Swapteam or anything else that you get if you don't donate the tiny $4 bucks a month.

First off I'd like to welcome our two newest members to the dP family: Sora and Donomoto. Although belated for Sora, better late than never. It's good to have you guys on our team.
Our servers were cranking over the free weekend and I think we got some great exposure. I'm going to toot our own horn and say our servers are some of the smoothest I've played on. That is until 4:02 am est. :/
A couple problems we have to patch up. First was our reserved slot issues from last night. I think Bacon has since taken care of this and no one should be getting kicked for a reserved slot. If you are, please post in the reserved slot section. As you might know our stats are currently down. We are working to get that resolved asap.
To all those who hate on VALVe after updates all I have to say is... Heads UP! JARATE!

Just FYI - unlockables are found not earned through achievements. So there is no need for an achievement server.
DP Nation needs your help Saturday 5/23! More details will come but we need every hand we can get to help with this important event. We will be meeting in dP-naiton chat on Saturday.
In other news a few additions have been made to the recruiting information. If you are a recruit please take the time to read the new information at the top in all caps.
Last but not least: the sniper/spy update. We will have a whore server for our dP members and citizens and basically anyone who reads the forums. Last update things got pretty crazy so try not to be a douche and you won't get kicked.

We here at [dp-nation] are grateful for the support we've received over the last few months and are very happy with the growth of our community (quality not quantity of players). With that said we will be doing some spring cleaning and improvements on Friday morning and into the afternoon. Bacon and I are hopeful this process will be completed before the evening.
I think the work Bacon and I will do can push us into the next stage of our development. Thank you for your patience and consideration during our "green" "wet behind the ears" time. Speaking of your patience, I'd like to apologize for the last week or so of lag...
I didn't want to mention it before we fixed the issue but it appears we had a little visitor on our dedicated server. He was accessing the server through a backdoor and installing port scanner software. We got an email from our providers saying we were sending out attacks. LoL. This was one of the things that prompted us to rethink our server design and other procedures. Once again thank you. You guys make the hard work worth it :D

Today we say goodbye to another founding father of dP and the l33test pro solly. At The Gates has taken a leave from dP. I wish him the best of luck with all his irl goings on and thank him for all his help recruiting and work he's done for the family. DustBunny will be taking over the role of Head Recruiter.
