 NEW MAP - Outback
Well we got some good news and some really good news. First the good news - We've added a sick looking map called Outback. Designed by S.W.A.T.Y. which was influenced by Goldrush and the "Meet the Sniper" video. You can download the map here and copy it to your maps folder. Now for the really good news - We've removed Beerbowl.

Yea the problem was the spawn points. They never really allowed engineers to build for blue or red. The movement of the spawn points so quickly negated telis and made sentry's a waste except for toward the final point for red. I understand it was a beta and being as i have no idea on the difficulties designing a map could impose it had potential just needs work. Now that its off no worries time to try a new one hope its better.

Yeah , I agree, if defending team had a forward spawn point at the beginning it would be so much better. It is such a big map that if you are one of the slower classes it takes what seems like forever to get to the first point. The attacking team's spawn moves forward at the mid point, defending team should have that spawn at the start. There is a couple of lag points in the map as well , if the creator optimizes the map ( which also reduces file size ) it may fix the lag points. Otherwise I really like this map , it has a lot of potential, it has open areas and choke points high and low ground, loads of back ways, I have gotten lost a few times, needs more directional arrows. I also think it, like cash works needs to be spilt in to two or the levels, like goldrush is.
